Happy and healthy, our juveniles are growing fast! If you are looking to set up your own breeding group, we recommend you start here! Group discounts available upon request starting at groups of 4+ at $275 each.

Sexed adults are a great way to set up a pair quickly or find a mate for an unpaired gecko! All sexed adults we offer are young and ready to breed. Females have either already given dud eggs or are of sufficient age that they should give eggs soon. We may occasionally offer a proven breeder as we bring in new genetics. Feel free to email [email protected] if you want specifics on an adult being offered, but be aware sexed adults can go fast, especially females!

When you purchase Lygodactylus williamsi from us, you will receive individually packed happy & healthy geckos along with lineage and hatch date information for each individual. We house all of our juveniles and holdbacks individually in order to track lineage and hatch date information. Juveniles ship out at 1.5-2.5 months of age on average depending on size, at which point they are well established. We incubate our williamsi at 79-80F in order to produce a roughly even ratio of males to females. If you purchase multiple williamsi, we will provide unrelated genetics where possible and do our best to ensure a diverse pool of genetics for your group. Our breeding Lygodactylus williamsi adults were originally sourced from 6 different breeders, with multiple unrelated lines from each source whenever possible. We also occasionally bring in new genetics. As a result, we now have many unrelated genetic lines available.

Lygodactylus williamsi, commonly known as the Electric Blue Day Gecko, is a small species of critically endangered gecko which exhibits vivid blue coloration unrivaled in the world of reptiles. Endemic to a small region in Tanzania, adults max out at about 3 inches! As male williamsi mature, they develop the rich blue coloration that the species is known for. This blue is difficult to capture on camera, often appearing even deeper when seen in person. Females lack the deep blues of males, but are stunning in their own way, displaying striking greens with some copper to bronze coloration at times. Many females also exhibit subtle blue tones around the edges. A male and female side by side combine for a stunning display of colors!

Williamsi have an intensely inquisitive and observant nature that is surprising for a lizard of their size. They often make eye contact, and keep a close eye on you from across the room as they go about their business. Their unique personality combined with their incredible color makes them both charming and captivating to observe in the terrarium. Adults max out at about 3 inches, so they do not require an overly large terrarium to thrive.

We have found Lygodactylus williamsi to be resilient and easy to breed under proper conditions. Breeding pairs of williamsi are incredibly prolific, producing a pair of eggs roughly every 2-4 weeks. Our record time between clutches is 7 days at Intrinsically Ectothermic, although intervals this short are incredibly uncommon. They produce continuously throughout the majority of the year, with each pair slowing down only for a few months out of the year. See our care article here for more information on caring for and breeding Lygodactylus williamsi.
